Jonathan Parker:

I am a self taught artist. My work is represented by the Braunstein/Quay Gallery in San Francisco. In addition to several solo exhibitions with Braunstein/Quay Gallery I have had one person shows at Artemisia Gallery, Chicago; Intersection for the Arts, San Francisco; Limn Gallery, San Francisco; and Gallery Eylau '5, Berlin, Germany. My work has also been shown in exhibitions at galleries throughout the U.S., including Greg Kucera Gallery, Seattle; Mary Ryan Gallery, New York; Robischon Gallery, Denver; LewAllen Contemporary, Santa Fe; and Oakland Museum, Oakland.

I have been the recipient of a Fleishhacker Foundation San Francisco Bay Regional Painting Fellowship and have been awarded several painting residencies including Yaddo; Djerassi Resident Artist Program; Atlantic Center for the Arts; Blue Mountain Center; and Headlands Center for the Arts Affiliate Artist Program. Two of my paintings are in the permanent collection of the Oakland Museum and my work is included in several private and corporate collections.

Follow your Heart to Union Square...

Luncheon

Join us in marking the 2-year anniversary of the Hearts in San Francisco city-wide art installation project at HEROES & HEARTS.

3 new Hearts in the series will be unveiled, while 12 TableTop Hearts will make their debut, all designed by prominent local artists and available for purchase at the luncheon. In addition, we will be honoring several local heroes for their exceptional and inspirational actions which help make San Francisco the first-class city it is.
